Consultancy Services for Metro System Upgrade in Denmark

Metroselskabet is seeking consultancy services for the 3xR Project, which involves upgrading the M1 and M2 metro lines in Copenhagen. This project includes implementing a new driverless signaling system and adding 42 new trains to meet the demands of the growing population. The current systems will be unsupported after 2035, making this upgrade essential for maintaining high-quality service. The consultancy must have expertise in five key areas: 1. Project Management to ensure alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder engagement. 2. Railway Signalling and Control Systems for designing and implementing advanced train control systems in a live environment. 3. Rolling Stock management from design to operational integration, ensuring safety and comfort. 4. Systems Engineering and Integration to oversee complex technical specifications across subsystems. 5. Financial analysis and commercial strategy to evaluate options and support sustainable growth. The consultancy will be responsible for managing scenario analysis, preparing tenders, developing technical requirements, and ensuring smooth integration from project initiation to final operation.
