Research and Advisory Services for Soil and Water Conditions in Nature

The goal is to establish a framework agreement with three parties for research and advisory services related to the biochemistry of soil and water, as well as monitoring of nature reserves in Gelderland. This request does not include specific, specialized, and long-term ongoing studies, such as the effects of measures in nature reserves involving stone meal and lime applications. The policy frameworks for this request include the Natura 2000 management plans for the Gelderland Natura 2000 areas and the associated Monitoring Plans for Environmental Conditions of the Natura 2000 restoration programs in the Veluwe Nature Management Plan for Gelderland. As the current framework contracts for the establishment of new nature (which is nearing completion) and monitoring of existing nature are expiring, the province seeks to establish a new framework contract for a longer period. Due to budget uncertainties and potential revenue over a longer period, the framework contract will be set for a period of 2 years, with options to extend for two additional 2-year periods. The intended start date is April 1, 2025.
