    Brief

The Creative Ireland Programme has been allocated €6 million over three years (2023-2025) to support creative initiatives under the Government’s Shared Island initiative. This initiative aims to enhance cooperation and understanding across communities on the island of Ireland, leveraging the Good Friday Agreement. The programme focuses on deploying creativity to: 1. Foster cross-community cultural and creative initiatives for children and young people; 2. Assist local authorities in building networks that promote vibrant and inclusive community partnerships; 3. Establish Ireland as a leader in showcasing the importance of creativity and mental health, especially in post-conflict areas; 4. Strengthen collaborations for a more sustainable island, both environmentally and socially. As the funding for this initiative will conclude at the end of 2025, a strategic evaluation is needed to assess the approach, outputs, outcomes, and impacts, and to provide recommendations for sustainable future scaling.
