Traffic Light Control and Monitoring System Development and Maintenance Services for the City of Porvoo

The procurement involves the delivery and maintenance of a traffic light communication, control, and monitoring system for the City of Porvoo, provided as a Software as a Service (SaaS). This project is a collaboration between the City of Porvoo and Fintraffic Oy. The new system will replace the existing Omnia system currently in use. The system will primarily be used by the authorities responsible for traffic lights in Porvoo and traffic light experts from Fintraffic. One supplier will be selected based on the tender competition to provide the traffic light control and monitoring system (referred to as 'Service Provider' and/or 'Supplier' in the tender documents) and will also be responsible for the system's maintenance as described in the contract. The criteria for selecting the supplier are outlined in this tender request and its attachments. The contract will be based on the agreement attached to this tender request. The contract will be effective from the date of signing and will remain in force indefinitely. The standard notice period for termination is 12 months, with the first opportunity to terminate occurring 24 months after the system is approved for production use, which is the start of the service phase. The rights to terminate and dissolve the contract under various circumstances are documented in the agreement.
