Waste Collection Services in Destelbergen, Belgium

IVAGO is seeking a service provider for the collection and transportation of household waste in the municipalities of Destelbergen and Heusden. The selected supplier will be responsible for the collection of specific waste fractions under the extended producer responsibility of Fost Plus. The collection frequency and schedule will be determined by IVAGO and must be strictly followed according to an annual plan. The services required include the collection and transportation of the following materials: - Paper and cardboard, collected once a month (12 times a year) - Glass, collected once a month (12 times a year) - PMD (Plastic, Metal, and Drink Cartons), collected every two weeks (26 times a year) There are approximately 8,000 collection points in the municipality of Destelbergen. A list of actual collected tonnages will be provided as an attachment to this contract. The service provider must have the necessary vehicles and personnel to carry out this contract effectively. Staff must possess the appropriate training and qualifications. Vehicles must be environmentally friendly and comply with current emission standards. Zero-emission vehicles will be considered an advantage. The collaboration will start on June 1, 2025, and will last until December 31, 2027, with the possibility of two one-year extensions by the contracting authority.
