Construction of a Family Day Clinic in Ahlen

The Walstedde Health Center, located in southern Münsterland, was established in 2003 as a multi-professional model project within a historic half-timbered farmhouse from 1821. This center serves children, adolescents, and young adults. The center is now expanding to a new location on the outskirts of Ahlen (Hof Menke, Alte Beckumer Straße 88) with a concept that closely ties to 'living and working on a farm.' A family day clinic will be developed as the second operational site of the Walstedde Health Center, equipped with the necessary infrastructure, which has been operating under significantly constrained conditions in Walstedde since 2019. The North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of Health has approved this second operational site for the Walstedde Day Clinic and the relocation of the family day clinic to Ahlen. The building rights have been established, and there is a legally binding development plan from the city of Ahlen for all construction activities.
