Carpet Collection and Recycling Services

LondonEnergy Ltd is seeking suppliers for carpet collection and recycling services. We currently handle approximately 360 tons of carpet annually, with plans to increase this to around 500 tons as we expand our service offerings. Suppliers must provide proposals that include carpet specifications and any specific conditions required for collection. Deliveries will be made by our vehicles if the site is within 20 miles of our Recycling and Recovery Centres (RRCs) in North London. For sites beyond this distance, suppliers should include transport costs for bin exchanges at our RRCs, with an expected frequency of 1-2 collections every two weeks. The delivery site should ideally accept deliveries from Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays, between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. However, we can accommodate Monday to Friday operations due to the lower tonnage. Suppliers will need to provide quarterly waste data flow information, and all carpets must be directed towards reuse or recycling, minimizing incineration or landfill disposal. Suppliers should also indicate their charges or rebates for the materials collected. We prefer a standard contract length but are open to a rolling 12-month contract under suitable conditions.
