    Brief

The purpose of this investment project is to create a technical infrastructure for the public transport system, which will serve modern flows and functions, including a depot for trams and electric buses, rehabilitation of the bridge over the Rediu stream, modernization of Strada Strămoșilor, and the establishment of an Intermodal Station in the Dacia roundabout area. The implementation of a digitized system composed of the systems defined in the project documentation for Digitalization Objectives 1-8 and 11 includes monitoring and controlling flows through a three-level signaling system and intersections defined in the project, along with complementary systems for monitoring and controlling functions. The expected outcomes of this public investment include: - The proposed infrastructure for public transport includes: a maintenance and repair hall for trams, a tram washing hall, a tram parking hall, and a parking hall for electric buses with all necessary maintenance and repair functions, including a washing facility for buses. Strada Strămoșilor will be completely modernized with new infrastructure, and an Intermodal Station is proposed in the Dacia roundabout area. - The investment project will introduce an automated three-level signaling system to enable monitoring and control both within the project limits and in urban areas through a Remote Control solution, using specific applications from the newly created dispatch center. - Digitalization will be achieved through the implementation of Digitalization Objectives 1-8 and 11, which include automated three-level signaling for the five areas defined in the project limits, plus two urban objectives that manage the signaled intersections, along with two additional digitalization objectives within the dispatch center for technical management and operational assistance, as well as interconnecting databases for the two modes of transport and MTI. Additionally, a number of systems will be implemented to serve functions (BMS, Thermography, Video Wall, and “Smart Hub”). Note: The deadline for requesting clarifications before the bid submission deadline is 21 days. The contracting authority will respond to clarification requests on the 14th day before the bid submission deadline.
