Supply and Maintenance of Up to 25 Large-Capacity Trams in Czech Republic

This public procurement contract involves the supply and maintenance of 16 large-capacity trams of the same type. The contracting authority reserves the right to increase the total number of trams supplied by a maximum of 9 additional large-capacity trams of the same type, as outlined in Article 3.4 of the procurement documentation. The aim is to modernize the fleet to meet the current transportation needs in the statutory city of Ostrava. The required trams must be approved for operation in the Czech Republic and will receive a Certificate of Competence from the Railway Authority. Only new trams will be accepted; refurbished or used trams will not be considered.
