Construction of a New Interchange on Vt3

This project involves the construction of a new interchange on Highway 3, including access and exit ramps, as well as a new intersection bridge. The existing bridge over Highway 3 will be demolished. A new road connection will be established between Highway 130 and the Moreeni business area, crossing over the new interchange bridge. Additionally, a new pedestrian and cycling path will run alongside the road. The alignment of Highway 130 will be modified over a distance of approximately 1.3 km. Bus stop arrangements will be made at the junction of Highway 130 and the new road. New noise protection measures will be implemented along the ramps of the interchange and the eastern edges of Highway 130. Existing rest areas will be closed and demolished. The project will also include the construction of a new 23-space HCT area and improvements to the Hämeenlinna street network. The work will be carried out as a single fixed-price contract, as defined in the contract documents and construction plans, including all road arrangements, equipment, and facilities.
