Water Tank Replacement Project in Ayios Nikolaos, Cyprus

The Ministry of Defence is seeking suppliers for a project to replace the existing reverse osmosis (RO) filtered water tank in Ayios Nikolaos, Cyprus. The project involves the following key tasks: 1. Supply and install a temporary 50m³ tank with all necessary pipelines to ensure the RO Plant operates during construction. 2. Perform electrical work, including the installation of sensors and accessories for the temporary tank to facilitate automatic operation of the RO Plant. 3. Remove old pipelines and demolish the existing concrete water storage tank (approximately 19m x 22m x 2.5m). 4. Construct concrete bases for two new cylindrical GLS tanks, each with a capacity of 219m³. 5. Erect the two new GLS tanks, each measuring 9.3m in diameter and 3.4m in height, with 100mm insulation. 6. Install all necessary pipelines and a new UV system for the tanks. 7. Conduct electrical work for the new GLS tanks to ensure automatic operation of the RO Plant. 8. Test and commission all mechanical and electrical systems to confirm the RO Plant operates correctly. Important project restrictions include: - Only individuals with a valid security pass (available to Greek Cypriots, Turkish Cypriots, or UK nationals) may enter the work area. - The RO Plant must remain operational throughout the construction period.
