Luas Light Rail System Track Renewal Framework

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) is seeking suppliers for a framework agreement focused on the renewal of track and associated works for the Luas light rail system. This framework will allow TII to issue Call-Off Contracts for various activities, including: 1. Developing detailed construction designs for replacing trackwork and related equipment. 2. Creating specific work programs and methodologies based on project locations. 3. Designing traffic management plans that must be approved by local authorities and the Luas Operator. 4. Coordinating with the Luas Operator and Maintainer as necessary. 5. Executing all required works for track and associated installations, including preparatory and closing works to restore affected assets. 6. Producing a Safety File and supplying necessary materials such as rail components and specialized tools. 7. Performing additional tasks related to track equipment, including installation and maintenance of points machines and on-track plant. 8. Providing handover files and as-built drawings in compliance with TII standards. This opportunity is valued at €50 million and is open to suppliers in the construction sector.
