NHS Arden & GEM CSU Java Developer Contract

This contract is for the provision of a Java developer to support the NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (CSU) in the development and management of software applications using the NICOR product platform. The selected organization will be responsible for software development, technical infrastructure management, and the design, testing, and implementation of web-based applications aimed at clinical data capture, extraction, and reporting. The applications must prioritize usability and design, including user identity management features. A full-time technical expert will be required for the duration of the contract, working five days a week. Additionally, the organization must facilitate knowledge transfer to the existing NICOR technical team after each implementation phase to ensure ongoing maintenance and support. The applications must be secure, robust, and capable of updates without compromising clinical data integrity. All programming code must be stored in a centralized repository, and the design should be user-friendly for those familiar with existing NICOR registries.
