Switzerland – Construction Works – MP-110078 N13 RG Maintenance Center S. Bernardino, Renovation of Existing Buildings and Expansion/Part II, Contractor Works

The project involves the renovation and expansion of the San Bernardino South Maintenance Center, which includes several interventions on existing buildings: - Demolition of buildings in area B, outside the mechanical workshop, excavation, and construction of the expansion of building B in reinforced concrete and mixed steel-concrete structure; - Renovation of the interior of building F, former storage room, transforming it into a maintenance workshop for UTGR, with offices and storage; - Partial demolition and reconstruction work inside building C for the new car wash, new Trafo station, and transformation into an electromechanical workshop for the remaining spaces; - Renovation work involving removal, disassembly, demolition, reinforcements, and adaptations inside administrative building A, including external waterproofing; - Removal, disassembly, demolition, reinforcements, and adaptations inside the existing workshop B, including external waterproofing; - Removal, disassembly, cleaning, and adaptations inside building D, designated as a cafeteria; - Completion of underground infrastructure works in the square for this second phase II of intervention. Main quantities include: Reinforced concrete demolitions: 1,000 m3 Non-reinforced concrete and mixed material demolitions: 400 m3 Cast-in-place concrete: 2,000 m3 Reinforcement steel: 220 t Formwork: 6,000 m2 Excavations: 7,000 m3 Backfilling with excavated material: 5,600 m3 Cement-asphalt paving: 160 t PVC/PEHD conduits: 1,500 m Electrical boxes PEHD: 3,000 m Waterproofing in PBD: 1,500 m2 Passive anchors for pit support: 1,250 m.
