The city of Magdeburg, represented by the Municipal Building Management (KGM), is planning a comprehensive modernization of the Magdeburg City Hall. This historic building is classified as a monument by the State Office for Monument Preservation. The main objectives of the modernization include: - Enhancing the quality of the historic building for visitors and users. - Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, particularly regarding fire safety. - Restoring the building's original architectural design in a manner that respects its historical significance. - Improving the operational capabilities of the City Hall, including: - Enhancing the delivery access to the stage of the Great Hall. - Improving sightlines to the stage in the Great Hall. - Upgrading building and event technology. - Expanding the availability of flexible event and conference rooms. - Renovating kitchen areas. - Improving the energy efficiency of the building envelope while considering monument protection requirements. - Developing a lighting concept to enhance the building's external appearance in the urban space of Magdeburg. - Improving outdoor space quality (demolishing various existing structures). - Creating effective flood protection. Key Services - Lot 304 - Rough Construction Services: - Concrete and reinforced concrete work, including closing openings. - Concrete infill for ceiling openings between 500 – 10,000 cm2 (approximately 247 units). - Closing wall openings after technical installations using mineral wool/PU foam (between 500 – 1000 cm2, approximately 20 units) and lightweight mortar (between 500 – 5000 cm2, approximately 90 units). - Creating openings, including: - Cutting grooves (10x10cm, approximately 25m). - Cutting recesses (50-100cm2, 10-15cm, approximately 40 units). - Chiseling openings (400-1,500 cm2, approximately 30 units). - Sawing openings (400-1,500 cm2, approximately 30 units). - Core drilling in vertical and horizontal components (D 100-400mm, approximately 310 units). - Grinding and vacuuming concrete surfaces, walls, and floors (B 25-30cm, approximately 600m). - Masonry work, including wall construction (MW wall, KS 17.5-24cm, approximately 145m2). - Creating wall openings post-construction (up to 500cm2, approximately 85 units) and infilling wall openings (up to 500 cm2, approximately 55 units). Implementation Period: June 26, 2025 – August 19, 2026. Individual Deadlines: - Technical Preparations: June 26, 2025 – July 30, 2025. - Construction Execution: July 30, 2025 – August 19, 2026.
