Germany – Monitoring Services – SbaD ABS H-B 1.BS, Replacement Investment FF, 740m Track + Additional Sections Track 6107, 6185, 6399

The major project ABS Hannover – Berlin includes the upgrading and partial expansion of the main line (Track 6107) between Vorsfelde and Wustermark. The goal is to increase capacity for freight transport, reduce travel times for passenger transport, and improve overall operational quality. The first construction phase involves measures for electrification and increasing the speed to 160 km/h on the Lehrter main line, as well as the installation of individual transfer connections between Tracks 6107 and 6185. This affects sections totaling approximately 26 km west of Stendal and a section of about 10 km east of Stendal. Additionally, on Track 6185, the replacement of the existing superstructure (type: solid track) with a new superstructure (type: ballast or solid track) is planned. The same applies to the project for the 740-meter track in Gardelegen and the associated utilization of the existing 740 m track length at Gardelegen station (Track 6107) for overtaking train journeys to and from Track 6185. As part of the general renovation of the high-performance corridor, approximately 18 km of Track 6107 will also be electrified. These areas are located east of Stendal between Rathenow station and the planned junction Wuster Damm, as well as between the planned junction Schönhausen (Elbe) West and the existing overhead line at the junction Bindfelde-Staffelde. In terms of superstructure renewal on solid track, an additional 16 km between the junction Bamme and the planned junction Wuster Damm should be considered in connection with the general renovation. The tender is divided into the following lots: Lot 1 - ABS Hannover-Berlin 1st construction phase, replacement investment solid track, eastern area; Lot 2 - ABS Hannover-Berlin 1st construction phase, replacement investment solid track, 740m track Gardelegen, western area; Lot 3 - additional electrification Track 6107 between Rathenow – junction Wuster Damm; Lot 5 - additional 16km solid track Track 6185.
