Local Plan Evidence Framework Procurement

Local Authorities must develop comprehensive evidence bases to support their local plans, including commitments to review plans within six months of adoption. This open framework procurement covers eight specialist disciplines organized into lots: Housing, Built and Natural Environment, Landscape and Biodiversity, Employment and Commercial, Transport and Parking, Sustainability, Sports and Recreation, and Viability. The framework is available to Maidstone Borough Council, Tonbridge and Malling Borough, and Sevenoaks District Council. Qualified consultants may be awarded up to three lots maximum, with the Council appointing a maximum of five consultants per lot. This procurement ensures compliance with procurement regulations while providing partner authorities with access to vetted specialists across multiple planning disciplines.
