    Brief

Worcestershire County Council is seeking qualified suppliers to deliver short breaks services for children with disabilities through a framework agreement. The framework consists of four service areas: Overnight Fostering Short Breaks (Lot 1), Overnight Residential Short Breaks (Lot 2), Domiciliary Care (Lot 3), and Short Breaks Support Workers (Lot 4). Suppliers can apply to one or more lots. The framework aims to improve service availability, ensure children receive appropriate care tailored to their needs, support improved outcomes, and maintain safeguarding standards. An unlimited number of suppliers can be appointed to each lot. Services will be commissioned through call-off contracts following the initial framework establishment. Lots 1 and 2 launched on 1 November 2026. Lots 3 and 4 transitioned from an existing Dynamic Purchasing System to this framework on 1 March 2027. All lots reopen annually in autumn to accept new supplier applications.
