Overhead Contact System Works Framework Agreement for Irish Luas Light Rail

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) is establishing a single-party framework agreement for overhead contact system (OCS) renewal works on the Luas light rail network. Successful contractors will be invited to submit call-off contract proposals for activities including: design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of OCS renewals and upgrades; detailed construction design and program development; traffic management design; coordination with the Luas operator; supply of materials (contact wire, insulators, cabling, poles, fixings); completion of all preparatory and closing-out works; production of safety documentation; provision of handover files and as-built drawings; and assumption of project safety coordinator and project design coordinator responsibilities. The framework is open to qualified contractors through an expression of interest process, with shortlisting based on pre-qualification questionnaire responses and ESPD declarations. TII will invite a pre-determined number of qualified applicants to tender.
