Construction and Maintenance of Rugby Pitch at Ullswater Community College

Kier Transportation is seeking experienced and qualified contractors to perform earthworks, drainage, and maintenance for the Ullswater Community College project. This includes the construction of a 106m x 68m natural turf rugby pitch with an associated drainage system at Ullswater Community College in Penrith. After the rugby pitch is completed, the selected contractor will also be responsible for a 12-month maintenance period before handing the project over to the client. The A66 upgrade project aims to convert single-lane sections of the 80km stretch between the M6 and the A1 into dual carriageway and improve key junctions. This project is a collaboration between three Tier 1 contractors: Balfour Beatty, Kier, and Aureos. We will apply the Build UK Common Assessment Criteria (CAS) to ensure all bidders meet a consistent minimum standard of business competence.
