Tram Replacement Bus Services for South Yorkshire Supertram Network

This contract provides for the provision and operation of replacement bus services across the affected South Yorkshire Supertram Network during a period of tram unavailability. The service is required to maintain public transport connectivity while tram infrastructure is out of service. The contract is anticipated to commence on 16 November 2026 and run through 31 December 2026, representing an initial period of approximately 6 weeks. Suppliers should have experience operating bus replacement services and managing public transport operations. The successful contractor will be responsible for all operational aspects including vehicle provision, staffing, scheduling, and maintenance of service reliability during this temporary replacement period.
