Construction of the Gubacsi Railway Bridge in Hungary

This contract involves the construction of the Gubacsi Railway Bridge and its associated facilities (Phase I). The project includes building a railway bridge over the Soroksári-Duna branch, located 15 meters north of the current bridge. The bridge will carry the Bp. Soroksári Road - Csepel distribution railway line over the Danube, intersecting at the railway section 25+65.966 hm. The railway track between the Gubacsi Railway Bridge and the Corvin junction will be developed as a double-track network, with future possibilities for a four-track electrified setup. The existing Védgát Street crossing will be retained and rebuilt. The new railway track will not allow for on-site switch adjustments, so the final signaling system must be installed as per the plans included in the procurement documents. The equipment will be placed in a container near the Soroksári Road organizer and the second track built on the Csepel side. (no passenger trains will operate) - Axle load: 22.5 tons - Usable train length: 740m - Track length: 750m - Clearance: according to MSZ 8691 'Av' Structure parameters: - Span: 22.00 + 145.00 + 22.00 m, clear span: 20.90 + 141.80 + 20.90 m - Obstacle crossed: Soroksári-Duna branch, intersecting at railway section 25+65.966 hm - Total structural length: 192.60m (including riverbed bridges) - Superstructure length: 493.60m - Superstructure: - Bank bridges: rigid reinforced concrete slab - Riverbed bridge: network arrangement, cable-suspended, orthotropic steel track structure 'basket-arched' bridge - Foundation: necessary foundations must be prepared for the bridge - Railway superstructure: - 54 E5 system rail, 1:20 rail slope - GEO reinforcement - effective ballast thickness: 50 cm - Column foundations must be prepared for future overhead wire design - Bridge inspection car: required - Monitoring system installation required Crossing: - A level crossing secured with traffic lights, with a rubber element crossing at railway section 29+80.05. A detailed execution plan package has been prepared as part of the project preparation, but the winning bidder will be responsible for preparing all other necessary plans (e.g., signaling systems, construction technologies, detailed plans) due to the complexity of the construction technologies, obtaining necessary declarations and approvals, and conducting other necessary consultations and obtaining permits during the construction process. The contracting authority (Client) must actively participate in official procedures for obtaining commissioning, traffic, and occupancy permits as necessary due to reasons not attributable to the contracting authority.
