Germany – TETRA Communication Devices and Services

SWM Services GmbH operates one of the largest and most modern civilian TETRA networks in Germany, featuring 55 Airbus base stations and two geo-redundant Taira systems. Approximately 4,000 TETRA devices communicate over this network. To ensure the operation of the network and the generation of electricity, water, and gas for the Munich City Utilities and its subsidiaries, new TETRA handheld and vehicle radios, along with various accessories, are continuously needed. This procurement aims to acquire these devices through a framework agreement for the years 2025 to 2028, with specific orders to be placed as needed. The buyer requires handheld radios, ATEX handheld radios, vehicle radios, and their accessories. The supplier must provide network-capable programming software and hardware that allows for user-specific programming of the radios, including necessary call groups, network parameters, and device parameters. The supplier must also ensure training, technical support, and ongoing maintenance for this programming setup. A product catalog with list prices must be submitted, detailing the main and accessory components available from the radio manufacturer. Approximately 800 handheld radios and 120 ATEX handheld radios, each with accessories, as well as around 200 vehicle charging mounts, handheld microphones, and standard batteries are expected to be needed.
