    Brief

The State Office for Immigration and Refugees Schleswig-Holstein (LaZuF) operates a state accommodation facility in Boostedt, located at Rantzau-Straße 10, with a current capacity of up to 2,500 beds for residents. This capacity is expected to be reduced to 1,250 residents in 2025 as part of the site concept. In special situations with high influx (e.g., due to the Ukraine war), occupancy may temporarily increase. While there are additional locations in Schleswig-Holstein, they are not part of this offer. The LaZuF is the responsible immigration authority and contracting partner. Residents are advised and supported by a care association/company, and their meals are provided through catering services. A security service is present on-site 24/7, and a police station is staffed during weekdays. A medical service operates similarly to a general practice. The LaZuF is committed to fostering a welcoming culture and aims to support the integration of residents with a prospect of staying, as well as assist in the sustainable return of those without such prospects. Special attention must be given to the protection of children and other vulnerable groups in the design of accommodation, counseling, and support services, with appropriate measures implemented. Staff from the security service are always present at night and on weekends to call for emergency services if needed.
