Project Controller for Financial Services

Tilburg University is seeking an experienced project controller to temporarily strengthen our team. This role involves managing, advising, supporting, and administrative tasks related to scientific research projects. The project controller will ensure financial oversight and control of these projects, acting as a key partner for researchers throughout all project phases. Responsibilities include providing sound financial advice for project budgets, maintaining accurate project administration, and preparing timely financial reports for external parties. The role also involves risk assessments related to finances and administrative organization. As the department is evolving, the project controller will actively contribute to its development, share knowledge with less experienced colleagues, and provide strategic input to department leadership. The project controller will work with various funding bodies and manage an average of twenty research projects, with values ranging from €50,000 to €5 million, covering a wide range of initiatives from small projects to international collaborations.
