Romania – Supervision Services for Road Works – Supervision Services for the Modernization of DJ 707 Vața de Jos (Hunedoara County) – Petriș (Arad County) Km 18+100 – 22+294 - "King's Road"

The investment for the modernization of DJ 707 Vața de Jos (Hunedoara County) - Petriș (Arad County) Km 18+100 – 22+294 - "King's Road" is part of Financing Contract No. 164 dated 30.08.2024 under the West Regional Program 2021 – 2027, Policy Objective 3 – A more connected Europe through increased mobility, Priority 5 – An accessible region, Specific Objective RSO3.2. Development and improvement of sustainable, climate-resilient, intelligent, and intermodal national, regional, and local mobility, including improving access to TEN-T and cross-border mobility (ERDF), Regional Intervention 5.1.A – County Roads. The Contracting Authority is procuring services for the supervision of the execution of works related to the project for the modernization of DJ 707 Vața de Jos (Hunedoara County) - Petriș (Arad County) Km 18+100 – 22+294 - "King's Road". This project aligns with the objective of improving the quality of life outlined in the Arad County Development Strategy 2021 - 2027, which associates two strategic objectives grouping various measures into priority axes, as follows: • Strategic Objective OS 1.1. Development of road and utility infrastructure; • Strategic Objective OS 1.2. Improving the quality of services and access for residents. The development of the quality of life for residents is closely linked to the quality of services that meet the educational, cultural, and health needs of the population. This development considers physical infrastructure, available human resources, and the quality and level of access of residents to the provided services. The county road infrastructure is underdeveloped and insufficiently connected to the TEN-T network. Accessibility and connectivity are not adequately ensured by intra- and inter-county transport. Therefore, the modernization project of DJ 707 Vața de Jos (Hunedoara County) - Petriș (Arad County) Km 18+100 – 22+294 - "King's Road" contributes to achieving an objective from the Arad County Development Strategy 2021 – 2027, Priority Axis 1.1.1. Improving road infrastructure and intra- and inter-locality mobility. According to the provisions of Article 160 paragraph (1) of Law No. 98/2016, as amended and supplemented, the deadline for any interested economic operator to request clarifications or additional information regarding the award documentation is a maximum of 20 days before the deadline for submitting offers, and the deadline for the contracting authority to respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information is on the 12th day before the deadline for submitting offers, according to the provisions of Article 161 of Law No. 98/2016. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to make changes to the contract, according to the provisions of Article 221 of Law No. 98/2016, as amended and supplemented.
