Eichstätt Train Station Renovation and Reconstruction Services

The Eichstätt train station, located at Bahnhofplatz 17, 85072 Eichstätt, is owned by the city of Eichstätt and was built around 1900. It is a two-story building with corner pavilions and a hipped roof, classified as a historic monument. The building has significant age-related damage, particularly due to undersized wooden components and moisture issues. The basement is damp due to a lack of waterproofing, and the entire building's technical systems need renewal. The renovation aims to redesign the interior to implement a new usage concept approved by the city council, which includes: - Basement: Band practice rooms and archive, storage rooms. - Ground floor: Train station bookstore (focusing on magazines and bestsellers), ticket sales, snacks, and tobacco products. - Left wing: Multipurpose room for the adult education center. - Upper floor: Office, reception, and multipurpose rooms for the adult education center. - Attic: Music school. Additionally, an external staircase is planned for the building. The planning phase will begin immediately after the contract award, with construction expected to start in the first or second quarter of 2026 and be completed by the third quarter of 2027. The construction will not take place during ongoing operations.
