Germany – Architectural and Engineering Services for BIM Planning of TGA Modernization at ICE Hall HH-Eidelstedt

The existing TGA infrastructure at the ICE workshop in HH-Eidelstedt is set to be modernized. The planning must be conducted using Building Information Modeling (BIM), and the current infrastructure needs to be documented. The following sub-projects (construction phases) are to be planned by the general planner: TP01 Separation of Fire and Drinking Water. Currently, a single sanitary network supplies both drinking and utility water users. This project will create a separate drinking water network that complies with legal requirements for the separation of drinking and utility water. As much as possible, the existing network will be retained as a utility water network. TP02 Modernization of Heat Supply and Control (Fresh Air and Warm Air Automation). The current ventilation system is in need of renewal and must be redesigned. Cooling must be provided, as summer temperatures can exceed 35 degrees according to ASR. The utility water network could be connected to the new RLTA for evaporative cooling. TP03 LED Emergency Lighting: A decentralized emergency lighting system with a buffer storage for each track corridor will be established. TP04 Roof Works and Smoke and Heat Extraction: Renewal of the smoke and heat extraction systems (requirement from the existing fire protection concept). During the renewal of the smoke and heat extraction systems, the partial energy refurbishment of the hall roof (light strips) will be examined. The redesign of the smoke and heat extraction systems will also prepare for the installation of photovoltaic systems on the south side of the light strips.
