    Brief

Sunderland City Council is seeking a supplier to provide a visually stunning and safe fireworks display for a minimum of 15 minutes on August 22, 2025, around 9 PM (exact time to be confirmed). The display will be themed and centered around Riverside Sunderland, including the pedestrian bridge. The chosen supplier will collaborate with the Council to determine the most effective locations for the display. The design must include a 'waterfall effect' using gerbs (fountains) from the pedestrian bridge to create a pyrotechnic wall of 'falling stars.' All waste generated from the fireworks must be collected, removed, and disposed of from the fallout zone. Preference will be given to biodegradable or low-emission fireworks. Additionally, the supplier should plan for post-event cleanup and waste management, as well as measures to minimize noise pollution and disturbance to wildlife.
