High Visibility Horse Riding Accessories

The Ministry of Defence is seeking suppliers to produce and provide high visibility clothing accessories for riders and their horses. These accessories are essential for safety in areas used by Defence helicopters and aircraft, as part of the ongoing 'Be Seen Be Safer' campaign, which has been active since 2014. The campaign aligns with guidelines from RAF Shawbury, RAF Valley, the RAF Safety Centre, and the British Horse Society. Starting in 2024, the campaign will also involve the Joint Aviation Command (JAC). The required accessories include various sizes of horse-worn quarter-sheets and fly masks, as well as rider-worn tabards and hatbands. All items must feature logos from the contributing units that order them. The total value of this contract is £87,000, and the deadline for submissions is November 18, 2024.
