Cork North Docks Quay Wall Structural Assessment

This project seeks a comprehensive structural survey of the Cork North Docks quay wall to assess its current condition, identify defects and deterioration, and determine what repairs are needed before construction begins. The survey must evaluate whether the existing structure can safely support construction activities plus the planned 800mm fill raise, new surfacing, and updated public realm loadings. The surveyor will identify immediate remedial works required for safety and stability, as well as longer-term maintenance needs to ensure durability beyond the construction phase. Deliverables should include a prioritised, phased programme of repair recommendations with sufficient detail to enable procurement and planning of the necessary works. The assessment must cover all elements of the quay wall including submerged sections.
