Brief

SPT (Strathclyde Partnership for Transport) is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure transport-related service contracts on behalf of 12 local authorities across west and central Scotland: Glasgow, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, Argyll & Bute, and Inverclyde. Services required include school transport, vocational training transport, and additional support needs (ASN) specialist transport. SPT acts as the purchasing agent, but contracts will be awarded directly between each local authority and the successful transport operator. This framework enables councils to access pre-qualified transport providers for their respective service areas and populations.
