Water Quality Testing for Legionella and Pseudomonas in NHS Hospitals

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust seeks a qualified supplier to provide sampling and laboratory testing services for monitoring Legionella and Pseudomonas Aeruginosa in water systems across five healthcare facilities: Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), Queen Victoria Hospital (QVH), Furness General Hospital (FGH), Westmorland General Hospital (WGH), and Millom Hospital. This contract covers regular sampling, transportation, laboratory analysis, reporting, and compliance documentation to ensure water safety standards are maintained. The initial contract period is three years with two optional one-year extensions, for a maximum term of five years. Suppliers must demonstrate expertise in healthcare water testing, regulatory compliance with relevant standards, and capability to service multiple sites efficiently.
