    Brief

    The University of Bristol is seeking suppliers to assist with the MRC Sleep Study by providing an Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP). This contract includes several key activities: - Support with obtaining regulatory approvals, including the preparation of the Investigational Medicinal Product Dossier (IMPD). - Sourcing Trazodone 100mg tablets and Zolpidem 5mg tablets. - Over-encapsulation of active products and manufacturing matched placebo capsules. - Packaging products into bottles and designing blinded labels in compliance with the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and the 2025 Amendment. - Holding the necessary Manufacturer's Import Authorization (MIA) for IMP. - Providing Qualified Person (QP) certification for use in the UK. - Storage and distribution of products to UK pharmacies. - Ensuring full traceability of materials and processes, including batch release certificates and audit trails. - Conducting all work as instructed and in accordance with relevant protocols, policies, and work instructions throughout the contract duration. - Compliance with the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and the 2025 Amendment, effective from April 2026, along with any other applicable regulatory requirements.
