Connect to Work Supported Employment Service - Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes City Council seeks a service provider to deliver the Connect to Work Programme, a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) initiative funded through West Northants Council as the accountable body for the South Midlands region. The programme supports people with disabilities, health conditions, and complex barriers to employment into sustainable work. The service provider will deliver a five-stage supported employment model: (1) Engagement - building relationships with local services to boost participant aspirations and confidence; (2) Vocational Profiling - conducting detailed assessments to identify strengths, needs, and employment goals; (3) Employer Engagement - partnering with employers to understand their requirements and support participant recruitment; (4) Job Matching - connecting participants with suitable vacancies and working with employers to create tailored roles; and (5) On and Off the Job Support - providing ongoing assistance to participants and employers to maintain employment and enable career progression. The contract will run for 3 years and 7 months, subject to the Conditions of Contract. This opportunity was procured using the Open procedure under the Light Touch Regime. Suppliers should have expertise in supported employment delivery, employer engagement, and supporting individuals furthest from the labour market.
