    Brief

Leicestershire and Rutland are seeking an evaluation of the Teen Health Service, which serves young people aged 11-19 years (and up to 25 years for those with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities). The Teen Health Service began operations in January 2023 as part of the restructured Healthy Child Programme and is delivered by Children and Family Services at Leicestershire County Council (and Rutland County Council). After more than two years of operation, the councils require an independent evaluation to assess the service's effectiveness, efficiency, and impact on public health outcomes for adolescents. The evaluation should examine the service's contribution to improving health and wellbeing, measure achievement against service objectives, and provide recommendations for future development. Suppliers should have experience in health service evaluation, adolescent health outcomes measurement, and public health assessment.
