Design and Project Management Services for New Municipal Cemetery Development in Letterkenny

Letterkenny Municipal Council seeks an integrated design team to provide comprehensive services for the development of a new municipal cemetery in County Donegal. The project scope includes: designing and delivering burial space for approximately 2,500 plots; creating a memorial garden with columbarium and ash repositories; constructing a reception and administrative building; building a memorial service facility with public toilets connected to mains services or on-site treatment; establishing a maintenance, operations and storage facility with service yard; installing roof-mounted solar panels on buildings where feasible; providing on-site parking; and executing all associated landscaping and drainage works including storm water attenuation systems. The cemetery will be accessed via a new entrance from Leck Road with vehicular access and egress, and will integrate pedestrian and cycle connections with the Southern Network Roads project. The design team will lead the project through all five stages of the Capital Works Management Framework, managing design specifications, procurement, supervision and overall project delivery. Applicants should demonstrate relevant experience in cemetery design, large-scale infrastructure projects and multi-disciplinary team coordination.
