Fire Door Remedial Works - IMO Additional Contract

This is a direct award contract for additional fire door remedial works at the IMO, continuing from the Phase 1 Riser Doors project. The work includes repairs and replacement of fire doors across Cores A, B, and C, along with remedial construction and substrate work. During Phase 1 inspections, opening up architraves revealed concerns in existing fire-resisting construction and substrate. An independent fire engineer has assessed and approved remedial solutions. This contract covers undertaking those approved remedial works to ensure the contractor can complete the original tender scope in full compliance with relevant fire safety standards and certification requirements. The contractor is responsible for condition assessment and ensuring all works meet regulatory requirements. This is a regulated below-threshold contract under the Procurement Act 2023, awarded in accordance with internal governance procedures. Delivery will be managed under an existing NEC4 contract via a compensation event.
