Brief
The city of Mayen is planning to construct a new daycare center on the municipal property "Am Erdwall". The building will be designed using wood construction and will have two floors to accommodate a large program with six groups of children. The design includes a structured building with a grid size of 3.60 meters, consisting of an access section and a horizontal block containing the remaining rooms. The facility will have sufficient traffic areas and an adequately sized entrance to accommodate 130 children. The planned central area (entrance and activity area) will serve as a space for gatherings and events. Five of the six group rooms will have an adjacent support room for small group care and development. The ground floor will include a large rest area, while the upper floor will have a smaller rest area for older children. An activity room is planned on the ground floor, and a multipurpose room on the upper floor. The daycare center will be accessible and equipped with an elevator and a disabled restroom. All group rooms and support rooms will face east towards the outdoor play area. A fire escape balcony will meet fire safety requirements by providing the first escape route for the upper floor rooms. The flat roof will have a minimum slope of 2 to 3% and will be greened to improve climatic conditions during the summer (protection against overheating). The kitchen will be designed as a fresh-cooking kitchen, with all related rooms such as storage and staff areas located directly next to it for short walking distances. Deliveries will be made through a separate side entrance, which will also be used by kitchen staff. The heating will be provided by a geothermal heat pump, with heat distribution through underfloor heating. Decentralized ventilation systems will be installed in the sanitary areas and the fresh kitchen. A photovoltaic system is planned for the roof, with exact sizing to be determined. A storage unit under 20 kWh is planned to avoid the need for a separate operating room, and the generated electricity will primarily be used for the building's self-supply. This tender is for the planning services for the technical building equipment covering service phases 1 to 9 for facility groups 1 to 8 according to HOAI.
