Animal Feed Procurement: Rapeseed Meal

The contract is for the supply of 75 tons of rapeseed meal, which must meet specific physical and chemical parameters. The requirements include: • Maximum moisture content of 12.0% • Minimum crude protein content of 34.0% • Minimum crude fat content of 1.0% • Maximum crude fiber content of 13.0% Additionally, the product must be tested for the absence of Salmonella in a 25g sample. The supplier must ensure that the protein components, specifically soybean meal, have low levels of contamination by anaerobic spore-forming bacteria. If testing reveals the presence of these bacteria at a level of 0.0001g, the supplier will be responsible for the return of the purchased batch at their expense. The VAT rate will be in accordance with the category of animal feed as classified in the Combined Nomenclature (CN) codes listed in Annex 10 of the VAT Act. The buyer, the Institute of Animal Science - National Research Institute, is a taxpayer of agricultural tax and will use the purchased product for its own needs.
