Green Space Maintenance Oversight and Planning Services

Helsinki City Housing Company (Heka) is seeking suppliers for oversight and planning services related to the maintenance of green spaces in residential areas. The role of the green space supervisor includes monitoring the implementation, quality, and safety of green care services. Heka currently has four partners for green area maintenance services. The responsibilities of the green space supervisor are primarily focused on the growing season (April 1 to October 31), but preparations must be made for year-round activities. The green space supervisor will also engage in minor redesign planning of yards and green areas, collaborating with Heka, residents, other users, and maintenance personnel. This procurement covers Heka's southern, eastern, western, and northern maintenance areas, as well as special housing projects. The contract will be awarded to a single service provider. Two designated green space supervisors will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, quality, and safety of green care: • The supervisor for the eastern and northern maintenance area will oversee green care in their respective area. • The supervisor for the western and southern maintenance area and special housing projects will be responsible for similar tasks in their area. The contract duration is two (2) years, with an option for an additional 1 + 1 years.
