    Brief

The European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) is seeking suppliers to provide shore-based Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) equipment for countries in the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) and Enlargement regions. This initiative aims to enhance maritime safety and security by improving traffic monitoring capabilities in these countries. The project includes the sharing of AIS information at a regional level and the implementation of Vessel Traffic Monitoring and Information Systems (VTMIS). Currently, some beneficiary countries lack adequate shore-based AIS infrastructure, which limits their ability to fully utilize monitoring systems. The goal is to establish a Framework Contract for Supplies to ensure these countries receive the necessary AIS equipment.
