Public Furniture Framework Agreement

This contract is aimed at enhancing public spaces around train stations, which are vital hubs for public life and contribute significantly to mobility transformation. The project focuses on the design and implementation of functional and attractive public areas around train stations, which serve as meeting points and transitions for the city and surrounding neighborhoods. The DB InfraGo AG, in collaboration with municipalities, seeks to support cities in procuring public furniture, including delivery, installation, and additional services. The framework agreement allows municipalities (cities, towns, and districts) to place orders for the construction of specified facilities within a maximum radius of 250 meters from the train station buildings owned by Deutsche Bahn AG and its affiliated companies, as well as stations owned by municipalities and other third parties. There is no obligation to purchase, and orders can only be made for the facilities listed in the specifications.
