Patient Transport Services for Dialysis in Sofia

This contract is for the provision of patient transport services for individuals requiring dialysis treatment. The service involves transporting patients from their homes in Sofia to the Dialysis Clinic at the University Hospital 'Alexandrovska' and back. Transport will occur daily, including weekends and holidays, except Sundays, based on a monthly schedule provided by the contracting authority at the end of each month. This schedule will include the days and times for transport, as well as the names, addresses, and contact numbers of the patients. The contractor must adhere strictly to this schedule, ensuring that patients arrive at the Dialysis Clinic no later than 30 minutes before their scheduled dialysis time and are returned home no later than 30 minutes after their treatment ends. Currently, there are approximately 30 patients using this transport service, with an average of 18 patients transported on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in three shifts, and an average of 12 patients on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in two shifts. The estimated total number of patient transports in both directions over the 24-month contract period is around 6,000. The contracting authority reserves the right to add new patients to the service.
