Brief
This contract involves construction work necessary for the reconstruction of the National Cultural Heritage site, the Ľudovít Fulla Gallery in Ružomberok. The project includes the restoration of surrounding paved areas and green spaces, as well as all related trades and supplies. The architectural solution aims to restore the building to its original state and appearance from 1969, when it was completed and opened. This will primarily be achieved by reapplying the glass mosaic façade, which will be flexibly suspended and dilated using modern methods to accommodate the movement of the steel console. A significant amount of existing structures will be preserved and refurbished, including stone elements of the exterior façade, exterior staircases, stone flooring in the foyer and hallway, interior staircases, and plasterwork. Wooden floors in the memorial rooms (study and living room) will also be preserved and restored. The office area on the first floor will undergo slight modifications, while the current layout will be maintained throughout the building. To ensure accessibility, one of the interior staircases will be replaced with a ramp for individuals with disabilities. An inspection area will be created in the basement from garage spaces and one hallway. All existing recessed lights in the ceilings and the main light fixture in the foyer will be preserved and restored, as will the lights above the exterior entrance staircase. All existing locksmith products, doors in the memorial rooms, and furniture in the memorial rooms will also be preserved and restored. The project emphasizes accessibility for both users and operators. The successful bidder will be required to involve at least two entities registered as social enterprises in the reconstruction process. If the successful bidder cannot meet this requirement for objective reasons, they must provide justification to the contracting authority. Additionally, the successful bidder must engage students (inactive individuals under 29 years) from educational institutions in construction/architecture and the arts through presentations and site visits during the reconstruction. They may also involve primary school students, particularly 9th graders, to encourage them to pursue further studies in related fields. The contracting authority will provide a list of interested educational institutions upon request. Waste removal and disposal at a landfill are also part of the contract, following relevant legal regulations. If any parameters identify a specific product or manufacturer, the contracting authority allows for equivalent products or technical solutions, provided they meet necessary utility, operational, functional, and aesthetic characteristics. The same applies to brand-specific products mentioned in the contract description. The contracting authority reserves the right to change the scope of construction work during the contract execution.
