Architectural and Engineering Services for Digital Radio Control Centers

This contract involves the provision of comprehensive planning services for the construction of digital radio control centers at three locations in Weinsberg, Biberach, and Lahr, Germany. The project aims to connect all control centers in Baden-Württemberg, integrating essential technologies for police and other security organizations. The work will be carried out by a general contractor and includes approximately 700 square meters of usable space, with around 240 square meters designated for IT purposes. The building is expected to be single-story with a footprint of about 900 square meters. The IT infrastructure will require approximately 180 kW of power, with a non-redundant electrical capacity of less than 300 kW (availability class 3). The three buildings will be largely identical. Estimated costs for construction range from approximately 12.55 million to 13.15 million euros gross per site. Planning is set to begin in April 2026, with commissioning expected in July 2030. This project is classified as VSNfD, and a security review is required.
