Concrete Repairs at M6 Lune Gorge

Kier Transportation is seeking experienced and qualified contractors to perform concrete repair work at the M6 Lune Gorge. The project involves repairing various concrete defects in existing structures, such as columns and abutment faces. Specifically, the work will take place on seven structures along the M6 between Junctions 37 and 38. Tasks include breaking out and removing defective concrete to different depths until sound concrete is reached, preparing the concrete substrate and reinforcement for repairs, placing concrete repair material, and conducting material testing. To ensure a consistent level of business competence, we will use the Build UK Common Assessment Criteria (CAS).
