Integrated Sexual Health Service Contract

This contract is for the provision of an Integrated Sexual Health Service aimed at improving sexual health outcomes in the community. The service will address key public health measures, including reducing under-18 conceptions, increasing chlamydia detection rates, diagnosing new sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and improving access to long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) for women aged 15 to 44. Additionally, it will focus on reducing late-stage HIV diagnoses and providing comprehensive support for individuals living with HIV. Key components of the service include: - Promoting good sexual health through education and prevention activities, including condom use, vaccination, and reducing stigma associated with STIs and unplanned pregnancies. - Offering easy access to STI and blood-borne virus (BBV) testing and treatment, utilizing both in-person and online services. - Providing a full range of reproductive health services, including contraceptive options and support for planning healthy pregnancies, with referrals to NHS-funded abortion services as needed. - Ensuring a high-quality service with trained staff and strong clinical governance to prioritize user safety. - Responding to local health needs, including outbreak management and continuous service improvement. - Leading in the local sexual health economy by fostering collaboration among providers and establishing clear referral pathways. The contract will commence on December 1, 2025, and run until November 30, 2031, with the possibility of a four-year extension.
