Construction Services for Hechtsheim Bürgerhaus

The Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH is initiating construction work on Binger Straße starting June 25, 2024. This project includes the renewal of the existing turning loop, the barrier-free upgrade of the "Hechtsheim Bürgerhaus" stop, and the construction of a new passing track in the middle of the turning loop, which is expected to be operational in 2026. The construction for the "Renewal of Hechtsheim Bürgerhaus Turning Loop" is scheduled to begin in summer 2026, with the execution period planned for weeks 32 to 42 of 2026. Notable challenges for the construction site include its location in the Mainz-Hechtsheim urban area, which can only be accessed via a narrow city road network and Bürgerm.-Heinr.-Dreibus Street. The departure stop (Platform A) can only be accessed through the construction site, and there is only a connecting footpath to Klein-Winternheimer-Weg on the north side.
