    Brief

The University of Sheffield is seeking a partner to provide a vehicle-based mobile clinic unit for a community-based prostate cancer screening initiative. This project, part of the IMProVE study, aims to enhance access to prostate cancer screening in Leeds and Sheffield. The initiative will involve inviting approximately 45,000 men for PSA blood testing and optional saliva sampling, with an expected participation rate of around 10%. Participants will be randomly assigned to either standard NHS care or an image-based screening pathway, with follow-up diagnostics managed within the NHS. Interested suppliers can download the Invitation to Tender (ITT) by registering on the University’s e-tendering system. All questions regarding the tender must be submitted through this system. Completed tenders should also be returned via the e-tendering platform. Please note that the University of Sheffield is not a contracting authority under the Procurement Act 2023, and this procurement is not subject to that act.
